PICTURE 5-1 (SE) Beauty Queen
$9.80
Feathered empire rose on salmon ground. Fragrant. BT 2 Ht 2 (45 cm).

PICTURE 5-2 (SE) 'Coquette'
$9.80
Creamy white. BT 1 Ht 2 (45 cm) Great for cut flowers and also good in containers. As flirty as a white tulip can get! ***SPECIAL NOTE*** These tulip bulbs were grown in France, which puts them about one month earlier in the flowering schedule than the other varieties. It also puts them a little bit more expensive. But worth it if you desire to have tulips blooming at Christmas. As their name suggests, these tulips bloom early in the season. In addition to their early appearance, they have several other attractive qualities: Single Early Tulips are known for having very strong stems. This means that they will stand up extremely well to wind and rain, unlike some other types of tulips (for example, Parrot Tulips). They are available in many different colours, both jewel tones and pastels. Some varieties of Single Early Tulips have a fragrance,

PICTURE 5-3 (SE) 'Diana'
$9.10
White. BT 2 Ht 1. Pure white 'Diana' makes a wonderful cut flower and is good in pots too. Flowering in early spring Single Early Tulips usually flower after the Fosteriana and Kaufmanniana Tulips, but before the Single Late and most other varieties of Tulip.

PICTURE 5-4 (SE) 'Prins Carnaval'
$10.20
Yellow flamed red. BT 2 Ht 2 (40 cm) Fragrant. Bold and bright, Prins Carnaval lights up the garden and perfumes the air with its wonderful fragrance. Great in planters or pots.

PICTURE 5-5 (SE) 'Yokohama'
$8.40
Some experts have moved 'Yokohama' from the Single Early group into the Triumph group. Whichever group, this is a lovely, lasting tulip; holding its blossom sheathed in the pointed leaves for a long while before rising high above the foliage. Yokohama performed very well for us in the last few years. One of the first to bloom, the blossoms tend to stay hidden in the leaves for a long while, protecting the petals. Very longlasting, rich deep yellow color.
